Away from the urban tumult, the Frontonnais hills, between the Tarn and Garonne rivers, are considered a “green lung”. This small appellation (2400 hectares) was built around its red grape variety, the négrette, whose authenticity has been preserved from standardisation as its addictive aromas of peony, blackberry and pepper make clear.
